RIGA – VILNIUS. 4 days/3 nights

Day 1. Vilnius
– arrival to Vilnius, transfer a/p-htl (driver meets the group with the meeting sign at the arrival hall)
– check-in in Shakespeare hotel

Day 2. Vilnius

– lunch in Lokys restaurant (800 m from Museum Modern Art)
LOKYS is a second-generation family restaurant in Vilnius, run by siblings Evaldas and Rita. Evaldas manages the service, while Rita, a Cordon Bleu-trained chef and sommelier, oversees the kitchen. Rita collaborated with historians to revive Lithuania’s culinary heritage, blending traditional recipes with modern cuisine using natural, healthy ingredients like forest foods (berries, mushrooms, nuts, and game). Opened over 50 years ago, LOKYS is Vilnius’ oldest family-run restaurant, located in a Medieval Merchant House with rooms featuring Gothic, Baroque, and Classical interiors. The restaurant also includes a gourmet shop offering local delicacies.

Historical experience in a historical space.
We opened our family restaurant in the house of Jurgis Ertlis, which dates back to the times of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Here, we continue the traditions of Lithuania’s culinary heritage, incorporating European culinary winds, Lithuanian seasonal delicacies, and modern interpretations of historical recipes into our menu.

Day 3. Riga
– breakfast, check-out
– transfer to Rundale Palace
– guided tour in Rundale palace museum (tour in the main exposition takes about 60-90min, tour leader will be provided with Combined ticket for Rundāle Palace and French garden)
– lunch in Pils Krogs (it is located the building on the left side after you exit the alley)
– walking in the garden (guests go to the park on their own without a guide)
– transfer to Riga
– check-in at Metropole hotel (Aspazijas bulvāris 36/38, Centra rajons, Rīga)

Day 4. Riga

A must have tour unless you are longing for an exhausting walking tour through the coublestone covered streets of Old Riga and spend a day or two to cover the same amount of information and objects by a walking tour.
In about 1.5 hours you’ll learn most important information about Riga and Latvia. You will be introduced to true facts, stories and legends, as well as with the most interesting objects of architecture, art and culture objects, including parks and more …

– lunch in Petergailis restaurant (500 m from segway tour starting/ending point)
Panorama of Riga can be seen not only by flying in plane above city but also from highest city tower – St. Peters Church. Golden rooster, that crowns the peak of this unique building, proudly rises over city. But on the wall of nearly located building you can see his relative, that is decoration of entrance to Pētergailis, although much smaller. Between churches St. Johns and St. Peters, right in the heart of Old Town on Skarnu street, since 1978, lies this cosy family restaurant.
